Runnin’ the Adidas ClimaCool Ride

The movement of light and comfortable shoes is upon us.  As runners we’ve wanted to feel comfortable as we run.  In the past we’ve seen running shoes offer comfort but no style, then style and no comfort, but never a perfect blend…until now. Adidas has mastered the art of style and comfort with their new lightweight collection of sneakers. March 2011 saw the release of the ClimaCool Ride, a 8.9 ounce sneaker, which is suppose to feel like running barefoot. It was a simple yet stylish shoe that gave comfort. Somehow Adidas was still missing what every sneakerhead wants, choice of color. And somehow Adidas heard and offered a first look at the total package; lightweight, comfort and style.

We got our hands on the ClimaCool Rides offering you the early scoop. First as mentioned before the shoe weights in at 8.9 ounces, ridiculously light, we thought so too. Constructed to provide 360 degrees of cool the ClimaCool Ride does that. With the use of technology called adiWEAR and adiPRENE. The adiWEAR outsole gives durability while adiPRENE midsole maintains forefoot propulsion, efficiency and provides protection from harmful impact forces, whatever that means. The mesh embodying the Rides provide all cool all the time. We’ve got to say that as a runner this was important, so mission comfort complete. With all the technology and research put into this lightweight project how does the ClimaCool Ride fare in style? Well we believe very well, with 28 different colorways launching soon, you’ll find a color good for you and your gear. And while most running shoes only offer style or comfort, Adidas broke the mold and gave us style and comfort. Adidas seemed to spend a lot of time perfecting lightweight footwear, aiming to lead the industry in a fashionable breathable sneaker. The running shoe ClimaCool Ride offers a running experience you’ll enjoy and is wallet friendly, priced at $90. With new colorways launching in a couple days Adidas has a shoe that will surely be running of the shelves.
